Francis Kirk

Francis Kirk is a PhD researcher in Abteilung I at the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam. As part of the ERC-funded project "Perestroika from Below", he studies the impact of the crime boom in southern Ukraine during the last years of the Soviet Union and the early independence period. He has also worked as an analyst and editor covering the ongoing war in Ukraine.
