Katja Bruisch is a historian of modern Russia and teaches environmental history at Trinity College Dublin. Her current project explores ways to embed environmental perspectives in the history of the modern Russian economy through the lens of energy. She was a Research Fellow at the German Historical Institute from 2010 to 2016.
