Ned Richardson-Little is a Nachwuchsgruppenleiter at the University of Erfurt leading the project “The Other Global Germany: Deviant Globalization and Transnational Criminality in the 20th Century,” with the support of a VolkswagenStiftung Freigeist fellowship. Originally from Canada, he completed his PhD at the University of North Carolina before working at the University of Exeter on the project “1989 after 1989: Rethinking the Fall of State Socialism in Global Perspective.” His monograph “The Human Rights Dictatorship: East Germany, the Collapse of State Socialism and the Rise of Global Human Rights, 1945-1990“ will be published by Cambridge University Press in 2019.
