Anika Walke is Associate Professor of History at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research and teaching interests include World War II and Nazi genocide, migration, nationality policies, and oral history in the (former) Soviet Union and Europe. Expanding on her book, Pioneers and Partisans: An Oral History of Nazi Genocide in Belorussia (Oxford University Press, 2015), she is currently researching the long aftermath of Holocaust and World War II in Belarus.
