Ger Duijzings is Professor of Social Anthropology with focus on Southeastern and Eastern Europe at Regensburg University (Germany). Between 1997 and 2002, he was a member of the Srebrenica Research Team of the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies in Amsterdam. From 2002 until 2004, he was a researcher and expert witness for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague.
