Ger Duijzings is Professor of Social Anthropology at Regensburg University (Germany). His research focuses on the wars in the former Yugoslavia and urban transformations in Eastern Europe. He held various positions in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Germany, amongst others at the UCL School for Slavonic and East European Studies (London), the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies (Amsterdam), and the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (The Hague).
